Founded in 2015, Belgrade Guitar District is a prominent guitar foundation in Southeastern Europe that so far hosted 5 concerts seasons and counts more than 10,000 followers on social networks.
Belgrade Guitar District was found in 2015 in Belgrade (Serbia) by guitar students and several other enthusiasts from the University of Belgrade. Their passion for classical guitar led them to organize 5 concert seasons in prominent concert halls throughout Belgrade. They are dedicated to promoting emerging as well as established classical guitarists and composers from Serbia and beyond.
bGd has more than 10,000 followers on social networks thanks to versatile recordings published on their YouTube platform. Their mission is to promote less known classical guitar works and new arrangements. They are also dedicated to recording and promoting new works of emerging composers.
Lately they collaborated with established international musicians among which are Nutavut Ratanakarn from Thailand, Tetsuya Takeno from Japan, and Branden Le Cravalho from the United States of America.
Some of Serbian artists and classical guitarists that contributed to concerts and recordings of Belgrade Guitar District are Aleksandar Hadži-Đorđević, Maja Radovanlija, Miloš Janjić, Ognjen Grčak, Viktor Ilić, Lazar Ostojić, Jana Kuvalja, Uroš Martinović, Filip Živanović, Momčilo Aleksandrić, Igor Zagrađanin, Luka Stamenković, Luka Božanić, Damjan Jovičin, Ema Kapor, Marija Rašić, Marko Sarić, Miloš Zubac, Danilo Milojković, Pavle Filipović, Aleksa Tarabanović, Nikola Korovljev, Miloš Vuković, Vuk Dragičević, and many others.
Some of Serbian multimedia artists and enthusiasts who contributed to the organization of 5 concerts seasons and recording of video materials are Velibor Hajduković, Antonije Zagrađanin, Petar Đurić, Mario Jurešić, Branislav Kosmač, Mihajlo Dragaš, Natalija Stanković, Andrijana Maletić, Mina Muždalo, Petar Živanović, Dragan Stevović, and many others.
